Only players also registered in the Benasque Open International may participate.
Registration will take place in the playing hall starting from the beginning of Round 1 until the end of the round on July 7th.

  • The tournament will be valid for FIDE Blitz Rating.
  • FIDE Laws of Chess (Appendix B) shall apply.
  • Tie-breaks:
    • Direct Encounter.
    • Average Performance of Opponents (APPO).
    • Average Rating of Opponents (ARO).
    • Buchholz Median (BH-M1).
  • Conduct rules:
    • The winner (or both in case of a draw) must report the result immediately. Otherwise, the arbiter may record it as 0-0.
    • Hitting the clock too hard will result in the loss of the game.
    • The arbiter’s decisions are final.
